Each year over three hundred students are injured by protruding coat hooks. Many times, administrators find the cheapest products sold in bulk by a catalog company or distributor, or opt for no coat hooks to avoid this safety concern. Finding the cheapest product for a facility does not provide the safest solution. I have found that when an injury has occurred the funding, time, and resources become available to replace dangerous coat hooks. To address this issue, I am asking for the removal of all dangerous coat hooks by 2013 before another child becomes an accident report.
Join the Fight is a campaign to inform people on the dangers of traditional coat hooks. I am asking for your help to eliminate protruding coat hooks by 2013. By joining this fight you can help educate administrators, facility directors, and owners about the serious injuries that occur. Please join us by requesting the free information offered below about this issue and how you can make a difference. Help us ensure the safety of our bright future.
I look forward to working with you,
Kevin Schauer
Owner and Inventor
